Garden Tour: Sakonnet Gardens, Little Compton, R.I.

Last week, we previewed the Garden Conservancy’s Open Days program at the refreshingly idiosyncratic Sakonnet Gardens in Little Compton, R.I., which opens its gates to the public once each year. Over the weekend, we had a visit, and a what a breathtaking sight it was – fog and all! Below, some iPhone photos from our visit. If you live in the area and didn’t make it, put it on your calendar for next year; it always lands on Mother’s Day weekend, and is definitely worth the trip.
