On July 7th, Angela Moore hosted her 18th annual Fashion Show and Champagne Brunch at Rosecliff in collaboration with the Preservation Society of Newport. The theme of this year’s show, Seaside Sensations, featured an exhibit of fashion relics inspired by yachting flags from the Golden Age. The exhibit, titled: Splendor at Sea and the Golden Age of Yachting in America, embodied the unparalleled wealth that existed during Newport’s Gilded Age.

The show’s special guests included Miss Rhode Island Teen and Groovy Gator owner Leslie Cathers alongside her adorable daughter, who modeled some nautical looks. Featured designers included Manuel Canovas, Just Madras, and Jack Rogers.
The Fashion Show was reminiscent of Newport’s yachting community, with colors of the sea – rich blues, crisp whites, plenty of stripes, and, of course, oversized hats.
Over here, the prints are attention-grabbing, with anchors, rope, and hues of pink, paired with basket purses and handbags adorned with ribbons and polished shells.
